Alright, I understand weapons like large swords/other things like that are most definitely not allowed in the dance, but one of my cosplays is indeed formal, but has a metallic left arm.

Would I have to take the arm off to get into the dance and just have a normal sleeve? It's a part of the character/costume and it's not something I physically hold so I'm not sure if it counts as a "prop" or not because it's just a metal sleeve/glove attached to the character's normal tux sleeve.

If it's part of a formal cosplay it's fine. Usually formal costume pieces we wouldn't allow would be costume pieces like wings over a certain size would take up lots of room, get in peoples way, and probably bump into people.
